Welcome! My name is Erica Grindinger.
 

I’m a dedicated special education teacher in the Shawnee Mission School District. I currently work in a center-based K–6 intensive resource classroom at Roesland Elementary.

 

I hold a dual degree in Special Education and Elementary Education (2023) and I’m certified in Special Education (K–12) and General Education (PreK–8).

Currently, I’m working towards my M.S.E. in Special Education at the University of Kansas, with an emphasis in Autism Spectrum Disorder, and I’m also completing a certificate in Special Education and Inclusive Leadership.

 

My long-term goal is to become an autism instructional coach.

I care deeply about supporting teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff with practical tools, empathy, and confidence so that students with autism and behavioral challenges can truly thrive in welcoming, inclusive classrooms.
